Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer and coordinate the WBS (AFE) workflow for expense and capital projects in accordance with internal controls, policies, and processes.
  • •Create and maintain expenditure accounting master data (Cost Centers, WBSs, and JIB Division Orders) within the ERP system.
  • •Collaborate with Operations Accounting to gather information for effective joint venture financial management.
  • •Prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and analyze financial data using GAAP principles.
  • •Verify joint venture financial transactions against COPAS standards and provide stakeholder insights through in-depth joint venture financial analysis and recommendations to improve JV Accounting operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or a related field and/or commensurate work experience.
  • •3–5+ years of relevant experience in joint venture accounting, financial analysis & reporting, account reconciliation, or a related field.
  • •Working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles for journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and analysis.
  • •Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and joint venture expenditure accounting master data (Cost Centers, WBSs, JIB Division Orders).
  • •Experience with Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS) standards; CPA is a plus.
