Job Summary

Provide technical leadership for high-fidelity missile and sensor performance simulations across Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), signal processing, software, and systems engineering teams. Lead modeling and simulation solution development, evaluate system/subsystem performance, and conduct trade studies to support mission analysis and flight test activities. Serve as a technical authority in design and technical reviews, and help shape technology roadmaps, proposals, and new business initiatives. On-site in Aurora, CO.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead development of high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, mission analysis, and flight test activities.
•Develop and implement modeling and simulation solutions, conduct technical trade studies, and evaluate system and subsystem performance.
•Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams collaborating across GNC, signal processing, software, and systems engineering disciplines.
•Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to execute simulation activities supporting program schedules and technical milestones.
•Serve as a technical authority during customer engagements, technical/design reviews, and program milestones; support technology roadmaps, proposals, and new business initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science/Physics/Mathematics (or related STEM) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
•Experience leading development of modeling and simulation solutions for complex aerospace, missile, defense, or high-performance engineering systems.
•Experience applying object-oriented software design and programming using C/C++ and developing engineering analysis tools using Python and/or MATLAB.
•Experience developing high-fidelity physical system models and simulations, including statistical analysis to evaluate engineering solutions.
•Active and transferable DoD Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date (U.S. citizenship required).
