Key Responsibilities

  • •Support daily setup and shutdown of the VR experience and complete pre-opening checks for hardware calibration, environment readiness, and content testing.
  • •Troubleshoot first-line on-site technical issues (VR headsets, PCs, networking, displays), monitor performance throughout the day, and resolve disruptions or resets.
  • •Coordinate venue operations for cleanliness and safety, including cleaning, reactive maintenance, queue management, timed entry, and visitor flow during peak periods.
  • •Assist in line managing front-of-house staff, run daily briefings, coordinate rotas and shift cover, and train team members on VR procedures and safety/technical protocols.
  • •Act as trained first aider, lead incident response when required, keep risk assessments updated, provide escalation for visitor queries/complaints, and deliver handovers and accurate operational logs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 16 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Current, valid First Aid at Work certification.
  • •Experience in live event, visitor attraction, or venue operations, preferably immersive or tech-driven environments.
  • •Working knowledge of VR hardware/software and basic IT troubleshooting (Windows PCs, networks, Wi‑Fi, device calibration).
  • •Experience supporting or managing teams, including casual/agency staff, in high-traffic public settings.
  • •Comfort stepping up to run a site independently at short notice with strong organisational skills and calm, solutions-focused execution under pressure.
