Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure DCSA facilities achieve and maintain Safety and Occupational Health compliance, including conducting annual RAC code-based facility safety assessments.
  • •Investigate, report, and mitigate mishaps and track hazards from identification to closure with timely follow-up actions.
  • •Proactively identify and reduce workplace risks, including conducting ergonomic assessments and job hazard analyses.
  • •Serve as regional SOH expert by providing safety training and technical guidance to DCSA personnel, including quarterly MS Teams training sessions.
  • •Oversee facility project safety during renovation and MILCON meetings, document safety concerns and recommendations, and support quality control plan development and alignment.

Key Requirements

  • •7-10 years of direct, hands-on industry experience in environmental health and safety or a related field, with risk management/health-safety management experience.
  • •Active SECRET security clearance.
  • •US Citizen.
  • •Current and valid Driver's License.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related safety field.
