Job Summary

Lead FinTech Commercial efforts within Agoda's Finance team, driving payments optimization with external partners, analyzing cost and performance, building business cases, and shaping fintech roadmaps across Pay-in and Pay-out pillars. Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Legal and Finance to unlock cost savings and new revenue streams, while communicating with partners and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced, global e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze payment method cost and performance data sets to identify optimization opportunities
•Collaborate closely with Product and FinTech solutions on Fintech roadmaps, strategic planning and initiative prioritization
•Evaluate partnership opportunities with our Fintech partners in form of business cases to realize cost savings or create incremental revenue streams
•Become a subject matter expert for Pay-in topics across Agoda and fulfill ad-hoc Finance requests to educate stakeholders about payments deal economics
•Partner with cross-functional Agoda stakeholders: Product, Engineering, Data, Legal, Finance teams, Customer Services and more

Key Requirements

•4-8 years of professional experience in Analytics, Consulting, Strategy & Operations, Data Science or similar; experience in online or e-commerce business preferred
•2+ years of experience in payments or Fintech, ideally on the merchant-side in a role that requires you to analyze payment performance as your day-to-day job
•Bachelor’s degree in any field as minimum requirement; MBA or master’s degree in business / finance / management preferred since strong business acumen is required in this role
•Strong numerical and analytical skills (e.g., running queries with SQL, building dashboards) with keen attention to detail
•Fluency in English is required
