Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop memory system architecture and micro-architecture to improve state-of-the-art memory performance, power efficiency, complexity, area, effort, and schedule.
  • •Perform performance modeling and simulation to improve memory system efficiency.
  • •Implement and maintain high-level performance and functional models.
  • •Analyze benchmarks, application workloads, and simulation results to identify micro-architectural optimization tradeoffs.
  • •Debug performance and functional issues across high-level models, RTL simulation, and silicon; collaborate with cross-functional ASIC, software, product development, and marketing teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • •4+ years of meaningful SoC architecture and development experience focused on one or more domains of MMU and address translation, memory caching, interconnects, and DRAM controllers.
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • •Ability to work in a dynamic, product-oriented, distributed team.
  • •Significant understanding of performance (bandwidth and latency) and Quality of Service impacts.
