Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the safety of guests and employees within designated swimming areas during posted business hours.
  • •Respond to emergencies within the hotel’s pool/beach swimming areas and maintain rescue readiness.
  • •Keep swimming and hazardous areas clear of engine-driven boats, windsurfers, sea bikes, and prevent swimmers/snorkelers from entering boat tracks.
  • •Set up and maintain beach/pool safety requirements, including flotation devices, correct flags/colors, rescue equipment, first aid kit placement, and posting required information (hours, pool depth, temperatures, wind).
  • •Monitor and control windsurfers, sailing boats, and sea bikes; supervise rescue if needed; ensure water sports/pool activities follow security rules and manage logs for participants and crew.

Key Requirements

  • •Be a certified life guard from any world Life Guard Association, with active status.
  • •Hold life guard certifications for artificial resuscitation (mouth-to-mouth) and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).
  • •Be responsible for responding to emergencies within the hotel swimming/pool area.
  • •Ensure swimming areas are kept free from hazardous activity such as engine-driven boats, windsurfers, and sea bikes in designated zones.
  • •Maintain safety setup at the beach/pool, including life-saving flotation devices, correct flags/colors, rescue surfboard/boat readiness, and first aid kit placement.
