Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide middleware messaging engineering, administration, and system support for production RabbitMQ and Kafka environments.
  • •Design, build, and support enterprise large-scale distributed messaging platforms, including installation, upgrades, disaster recovery planning, and backup/recovery.
  • •Operate cloud and legacy applications independently through day-to-day monitoring and tuning.
  • •Develop automation using AI-assisted engineering practices to improve troubleshooting, documentation, incident resolution, and operational productivity.
  • •Implement and enforce best practices for a highly available and secure messaging platform, and address performance/scalability challenges for Kafka producers/consumers.

Salary: USD 123,200 - 169,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •6 to 12 years of experience in middleware Kafka messaging, application platform management, and distributed architecture/solutions.
  • •Proven experience managing RabbitMQ and Kafka for large-scale enterprise distributed systems.
  • •Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
  • •Deep knowledge of configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Kafka/RabbitMQ.
  • •Proficiency with Python, shell scripts, and configuration management tools, preferably Ansible, plus experience using AI-powered engineering tools to improve productivity.
