Provide technical leadership for Boeing’s Space Mission Systems Communications Systems portfolio, shaping end-to-end communications solutions and ensuring optimal cost, technical, schedule, and risk outcomes. Lead engineering oversight across product definition, validation, systems and software engineering, integration, verification testing, on-orbit test, certification, and sustainment. Execute technical readiness reviews and failure reviews, develop long-term engineering strategy and technology roadmaps, and lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team.

•Provide technical leadership and problem resolution for communications systems programs, including hardware design, integration, verification testing, on-orbit testing, and sustainment.
•Oversee end-to-end communications solution design and ensure systems integrate properly across cost, technical performance, schedule, and risk.
•Partner with leadership and program stakeholders to set communication systems policies, procedures, and consistent design and project direction.
•Assure execution of technical readiness reviews and failure review boards to drive rapid design and issue closure.
•Develop and execute long-term communication systems engineering strategy and technology insertion roadmaps, while leading and mentoring the engineering team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 210,800 - 285,200 annually

•Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).

•10+ years of experience in communication/systems engineering.
•10+ years of experience designing space communication systems.
•10+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
