Job Summary

Senior Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS and Azure. You will lead automation of cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and GitOps, build serverless and Kubernetes-based applications, and ensure security best practices. You’ll mentor development teams, drive performance improvements, and stay current with cloud technologies to enable reliable, efficient, and compliant cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS and Azure, ensuring adherence to functional and non-functional requirements.
•Lead initiatives to automate cloud infrastructure, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitOps methodologies and streamline deployments.
•Collaborate with teams to integrate best practices in development, code quality, and automation, while mentoring and guiding development teams in DevOps and automation practices.
•Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud applications using serverless architectures, Kubernetes, and event-driven patterns, while applying security best practices for authentication and authorization mechanisms.
•Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud applications, ensuring software systems meet design, testing, and security standards.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role with a focus on AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, and expertise in CI/CD pipelines, GitOps frameworks (e.g., Flux, ArgoCD) and GitFlow methodologies.
•Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Golang, or JavaScript, with experience in serverless architectures, Kubernetes (custom CRDs, operators, controllers) and event-driven patterns (queues, streams, pub/sub).
•Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including ABAC, RBAC, JWT, SAML, AAD, OIDC, and secure authentication/authorization mechanisms.
•Expertise in software architecture, development, and systems testing, with No-SQL databases like DynamoDB and adherence to SDLC, DRY, KISS and SOLID principles.
•Solid understanding of scalability, concurrency, distributed systems, and cloud networking, including proxies, with experience building serverless cloud applications.
