Job Summary

Support aftermarket parts for HVAC equipment by performing engineering analysis and technical validation. Perform part supersession analysis, review engineering documentation, and help prepare 3D/2D deliverables and Bills of Material updates to ensure accurate technical data. Participate in part qualification and engineering change processes with risk assessment. Collaborate with aftermarket engineering, sourcing, quality, service, and product management, applying Lean and structured problem-solving to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct technical evaluations of mechanical and electro-mechanical components to support design decisions and part selection.
•Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, test reports, and product documents to support aftermarket parts.
•Participate in (or lead) part qualification and engineering change processes, defining requirements, test methods, and risk assessments.
•Create and support 3D layouts and 2D drawings when required, and maintain Bills of Material (BOM) and engineering documentation.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions and apply Lean/structured problem-solving to improve processes and efficiency.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
•4+ years of experience in product engineering, component development, product validation, or related technical roles.
•Ability to interpret engineering drawings, material specifications, tolerance requirements, and mechanical components.
•Experience developing or executing test plans for parts or assemblies.
•Proficiency in Excel and experience working with engineering documentation or ERP/PLM systems.
