Job Summary

Serve as a Trusted Advisor to real estate owners, investors, and developers by delivering holistic credit and financial solutions using Key’s full product platform. Lead deal execution as a deal team leader, structure credit and non-credit offerings, proactively manage a loan portfolio, and deepen client relationships through cross-sell and risk-disciplined asset quality management. Mentor junior team members and support onboarding while driving profitable revenue growth in alignment with the LOB strategy.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a Trusted Advisor by analyzing client/prospect management practices, portfolio dynamics, and business strategy, then crafting value-added solutions.
•Provide product knowledge across Key’s platform (e.g., investment banking, credit facilities, cash management, interest rate management, syndications, debt capital markets, deposits, leasing, private banking, equipment finance).
•Serve as deal team leader by coordinating Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and other partners for larger and complex transactions.
•Structure and lead credit and non-credit product delivery aligned to the LOB strategy while demonstrating sound risk management and maximizing risk-adjusted returns.
•Proactively manage a loan portfolio to maximize profitability and maintain strong asset quality through timely issue identification, resolution, and risk rating assessment.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 128,000 - 268,000 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of real estate lending experience, including through a real estate downcycle.
•A proven understanding of balancing business development with asset quality and risk management.
•Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team to deliver solutions and achieve financial and risk management goals.
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience (required).
•Experience as a credit underwriter, credit officer, workout manager, or in a product role such as commercial mortgage, subordinated debt, or investment banking (preferred).
