Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, repair, and replace PLCs and related hardware to support plant operations.
  • •Maintain and troubleshoot mill control systems, including I/O schematics, motor control diagnostics (DC/AC), and 6900 high-voltage power systems.
  • •Perform routine preventative maintenance procedures according to scheduled knowledge and requirements.
  • •Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of electrical maintenance in a manufacturing setting, or a two-year Industrial Maintenance degree with 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience.
  • •Must be a journeyman certified electrician (or equivalent), including documentation of 1080 program hours of industrial electrician experience.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and replace PLCs and related hardware.
  • •Ability to maintain and troubleshoot mill control systems, including relay logic, I/O schematics, and motor control diagnostics (AC/DC) and high-voltage power systems.
  • •Ability to read and follow drawings and document/communicate machine control modifications to electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
