Job Summary

Build and scale People Operations for a fast-growing, distributed team. Partner with the Director of People to drive People strategy while owning day-to-day operations—performance reviews, employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding, benefits, leave), and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Serve as a trusted employee point of contact, leverage Rippling as the system of record, and use AI to automate People workflows and help train AI agents. Located in the Greater Toronto area.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and resolve workplace issues by prioritizing urgency and impact.
•Track People metrics (e.g., quality of hire, turnover) and use insights to inform decisions.
•Drive the performance review cycle, facilitate goal-setting, and support career development.
•Own employee records in Rippling, including workers employed via international EOR or US PEO arrangements.
•Manage the employee lifecycle (onboarding/offboarding, benefits, relocations, immigration, and leave) and ensure compliance with employment laws across Canada, the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 109,000 - 137,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, HRBP, or a similar role in a high-growth environment.

•Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude Cowork to streamline processes and support data-driven decisions.
•Experience with HRIS and remote collaboration tools, including Rippling, Slack, Zoom, Google Suite, and Notion.
