Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and prepare multi-dimensional semiconductor layout and detailed drawings from provided schematics and geometry.
  • •Create and manage IC layouts end-to-end, including floorplanning, implementation, verification, and supporting analog integrated circuits.
  • •Verify layout compliance with Design Rule Checks (DRCs) and Electrical Rule Checks (ERCs), including writing layout specifications and checking dimensions.
  • •Collaborate with Analog and Digital design teams and the global layout design community through layout design reviews.
  • •Support fab hand-off by preparing reliable production data, working with PE/Packaging engineers, and assisting with documentation and archive; contribute to layout design flow automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing an Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related degree.
  • •Minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA.
  • •Working knowledge of electrical circuits such as resistance, capacitance, voltage, and current.
  • •Familiarity with Unix/Linux and mixed-signal EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and Assura LVS/DRC (or similar).
  • •Basic proficiency in one or more coding languages such as Perl, Python, C, or Cadence SKILL.
