Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; diagnose issues using real-time data.
  • •Coordinate daily rental board to prioritize and complete equipment scheduled for same-day and next-day deliveries.
  • •Oversee technician assignments and follow up to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed accurately and on time.
  • •Coordinate communication between the shop team and the Service Manager on work progress, priorities, and equipment status.
  • •Serve as QC lead by inspecting units on the rent-ready line before release to customers, while continuing hands-on inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience as a heavy equipment technician, with hands-on servicing and repair.
  • •Experience repairing a variety of equipment including earthmoving equipment, aerial lifts, OTR trucks, and water trucks.
  • •2+ years of leadership or lead technician experience overseeing and coordinating shop operations.
  • •Understanding of the equipment rental environment, including customer-driven turnaround urgency.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred.
