Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead MEP commission management, including feasibility studies and procurement reporting.
  • •Produce and present cost plans through estimating and cost planning for internal and external clients.
  • •Manage tendering and procurement (including pre-qualification) and handle post-contract cost variances and change control.
  • •Carry out cost checks and valuations, produce monthly post-contract cost reports, and present them to the client.
  • •Where appropriate, lead a cost management team, interface with clients and consultants across project stages, and negotiate and agree final accounts.

Key Requirements

  • •Professionally qualified (RICS or AIQS) or actively working towards it.
  • •Proven track record delivering high-quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle.
  • •Ability to successfully manage and prioritise multiple projects at a time.
  • •Experience delivering MEP elements of work for clients.
  • •Knowledge of the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below) and effective use of digital software for delivery of cost management services.
