Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Handle minor adjustments and repairs across truck equipment such as electrical, brakes, cooling systems, starters/alternators, fan clutches, engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on a company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Maintain and operate the service vehicle, conduct safety checks, and complete pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document work and DOT/repair findings by completing repair orders and forms, uploading photos, and communicating with management/support for approvals and repair estimate details.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years’ experience in a related field.
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •Can successfully complete and pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment.
  • •Due to interstate operating authority commerce regulations, must be at least 21 years or older and have a valid driver’s license with Driver Qualification File.
  • •Provide/obtain required certifications, including ASE T8 (PMI) within the required timeframe.
