Job Summary

Lead civil and structural engineering for energy transition and infrastructure projects, providing technical leadership, project direction, and mentorship within a multidisciplinary team. Deliver concepts through detailed design, manage client relationships, and drive innovation, safety, and delivery excellence across power generation, transmission, substations, gas infrastructure, carbon capture and hydrogen projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and deliver civil and structural engineering services on complex Energy Transition and industrial infrastructure projects.
•Act as Lead Engineer, Discipline Lead or Project Manager as appropriate, ensuring successful delivery to programme, budget and quality requirements.
•Provide technical leadership across structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, foundations, site infrastructure and associated civil engineering works.
•Develop innovative, sustainable and practical engineering solutions that meet client and project requirements.
•Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor and identifying opportunities for future work.

Key Requirements

•Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline
•Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the ICE/IStructE or equivalent
•Significant experience delivering civil and/or structural engineering projects within energy, industrial or infrastructure sectors
•Demonstrable experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating complex design activities
•Strong understanding of engineering governance, quality management and Safety in Design principles
