Key Responsibilities

  • •Use needle/syringe/lancet to collect blood samples from pedigree birds to monitor health and diseases.
  • •Clean, sanitize, and prepare blood-testing instruments and sampling equipment for the next pull.
  • •Record information according to instructions for sampling of pedigree birds.
  • •Support additional duties such as moving birds, washing/disinfecting vehicles, and assisting with euthanasia in accordance with company policy.
  • •Follow biosecurity/animal welfare and safety procedures, including showering, clothing/footwear changes, and use of required PPE.
