Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the movement of cars into and out of the inspection/reconditioning area safely while meeting production and quality goals
  • •Oversee day-to-day activities of the assigned team, identify strengths/weaknesses, and drive continuous improvement
  • •Engage, coach, develop, and manage performance of team members, providing clear expectations and feedback
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory to repair or reject based on estimated repair cost and vehicle quality
  • •Train production associates using quality control standards to complete repairs effectively the first time and minimize re-checks and delays

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process
  • •Demonstrated understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years)
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced, potentially cold/hot/noisy/wet environment
