Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the daily execution of payroll operations by processing payroll-related transactions and validating employee and payroll data.
  • •Act as the first-level liaison with the 3rd-party payroll provider for day-to-day processing, including off-cycle payroll production.
  • •Coordinate with HR on pay, deduction, and benefits information used for payroll production, tracking, and reporting.
  • •Develop and maintain payroll policies/procedures to ensure adherence to internal controls, GAAP, and federal and state regulations.
  • •Lead or participate in cross-functional projects, identify improvement opportunities, develop queries/reports, and support SOX controls.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 64,000 - 88,000

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • •4+ years of payroll experience in a complex, multi-state organization, including payroll tax, timekeeping, wage garnishments, system implementation, reporting, and general ledger.
  • •Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax and payroll regulations and wage and hour laws (FLSA).
  • •Preferred experience with Workday Payroll Management System and an outsourced payroll model.
  • •Preferred CPP or CPA and proficient Microsoft Office skills.
