Key Responsibilities

  • •Commission control systems: install pre-engineered software, checkout, startup/commission, and fine-tune operations per customer requirements.
  • •Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and make changes/re-engineering to meet specifications; support open systems and 3rd-party integrations.
  • •Coordinate with other trades and contractors, manage Honeywell equipment deliveries/storage/handling, and ensure installation matches Honeywell drawings and guidelines.
  • •Conduct functional training, obtain system sign-off per contract, and support sales/project managers with surveys and retrofit opportunities for complex integrated/networked solutions.
  • •Perform health, safety, and statutory compliance (hazard/risk assessments, report near misses) and handle administrative duties like tool/software/site database responsibility and up-to-date commissioning documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate technical college degree or Bachelor’s in Engineering; or High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of technically related field experience in HVAC.
  • •3 years of experience with building systems, including programming/PC and general network knowledge.
  • •3+ years of experience with system integration, networking, and software interfaces.
  • •3+ years of HVAC systems and control systems knowledge, including mechanical system operation and building facilities.
  • •Must have a valid driver’s license and travel up to 75% throughout Southern U.S. and Caribbean.
