Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Western Region and the California Cost Center in business generation and business operations by managing client relationships, services, deliverables, and value-driven offerings.
  • •Lead bid teams and oversee proposal generation, supporting strategy, development, and production of custom proposals, bids, and client deliverables.
  • •Provide business operations leadership for a project management team in California, ensuring planning/execution, portfolio management, deliverables, and collaborations/resources.
  • •Own financial management and reporting, including tracking margin levels, monthly fee/resource forecasts, budgeting, invoices, and accounts receivable follow-up.
  • •Serve as a line manager by coaching and mentoring staff, sourcing/interviewing candidates, and maintaining weekly updates on project and staffing status.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 195,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a field related to construction (graduate degree preferred).
  • •Minimum 8 years of relevant project management experience in the construction A-E-C industry, including business development experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of the construction consultancy/advisory business and the ability to enhance deliverables and initiatives.
  • •Demonstrated ability to identify key messages and clearly communicate them, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • •Experience managing teams of project managers and support staff, plus experience managing client accounts.
