Job Summary

Provide high-quality, evidence-based family medicine under the supervision of the Consultant Physician. Diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses, review investigations, and update patient charts while ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. Counsel patients on lifestyle and preventative healthcare, obtain informed consent for procedures, and coordinate with other medical specialties. Support clinical coverage, incident reporting, and help supervise and train junior medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

•Examine patients, take medical histories, address concerns, and answer patient questions.
•Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and disorders, including recommending and implementing treatment plans and prescribing therapies.
•Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; review results and modify treatment as required.
•Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, preventative healthcare, and lifestyle changes; maintain accurate patient records and charts.
•Assist the Consultant Physician with supervision of junior medical staff, support admissions and daily patient care, obtain informed consent, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.

•A medical degree with successful completion of residency and internship.
•A state license and certification to practice medicine.
