Key Responsibilities

  • •Build privacy and compliance products by translating legal requirements into structured solutions an AI agent can execute.
  • •Own and shape the privacy/compliance product vertical within the Wordsmith platform with autonomy over how it’s built.
  • •Support pre-sales by understanding customer problems and building or demonstrating solutions.
  • •Apply privacy law and broader regulatory/governance/compliance knowledge (e.g., financial services compliance or AI governance) to customer use-cases.
  • •Extend into general legal work and build additional legal products when needed beyond the core privacy/compliance focus.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep knowledge of privacy law and/or the wider compliance picture (e.g., AI governance, security, financial regulation, employment law).
  • •Be either a qualified lawyer or a privacy/compliance specialist with real depth, comfortable working across adjacent legal areas.
  • •Strong AI literacy: reason about AI tools day to day and understand what today’s AI can and can’t do.
  • •Turn messy privacy/compliance requirements into structured, workable solutions.
  • •Several years of experience in privacy law or compliance practice, ideally at a mid-to-senior level, with the proactivity to work independently.
