Key Responsibilities

•Lead or support digital and/or mechanism control designs for avionics systems.
•Enhance electrical engineering skills through hands-on testing and debugging of complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems.
•Support component level design and test reviews, including peer reviews as a subject matter expert.
•Develop and document subsystem requirements and test plans; architect new electronic systems and investigate root-cause failures.
•Collaborate with functional and program leadership, as well as customers and suppliers; mentor and guide teams through hardware systems lifecycle phases.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years experience.
•8+ years in analog, digital, and power electronics design, integration, and production support.
•Experience with analog/digital sub-systems, systems engineering, requirement development/validation, and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design and test integration and/or supplier management.
•Prior hands-on troubleshooting experience with complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems.
•Demonstrated ability to serve as a technical leader on complex subsystems during Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) phases.
