Job Summary

Maintain and repair pump, power, and HVAC equipment at EquipmentShare’s Advanced Solutions rental facility in Austin, TX. Create and monitor work orders using the company’s T3 platform, track service intervals, order parts, and troubleshoot equipment failures. When required, travel to customer job sites for preventive maintenance and repairs. Keep documentation up to date, assist in training lower-level technicians, and support equipment setup and operation.

Key Responsibilities

•Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
•Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track service intervals and order parts.
•Diagnose equipment issues and troubleshoot failures at the shop and on customer locations, completing repairs.
•Travel to customer job sites when required to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
•Maintain daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed and assist with pickup/delivery and training as needed.

Key Requirements

•Own tools applicable to the position and demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
•Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
•Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, and ability to read schematics.
•Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
•EPA 608 certification preferred; if not currently held, ability to obtain within 6–12 months of employment.
