Key Responsibilities

•Lead the chemical, hazardous waste, and blood borne pathogen spill response teams.
•Supervise, plan, and assign the work of waste treatment and chemical handlers.
•Samples hazardous waste and wastewater as required, determines what parameters to sample for, and arranges sample shipments for offsite analysis.
•Maintain and supervise the air permits and new permitting processes.
•Prepare and obtain quotes for maintenance items, safety supplies, spare parts and equipment.

Salary: USD 132,400 - 251,600 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; minimum 10 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 7 years experience
•24-hour HAZWOPER certification
•Experience managing hazardous waste, stormwater, air permits, and related EHS programs
•Experience leading a team (e.g., supervising 5 bargaining unit employees) and coordinating with subject-matter experts
•U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract
