Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of data scientists and analytics engineers embedded in Finance, setting the technical bar and priorities.
  • •Own metric governance and a single source of truth for top-line performance metrics across operational finance and investor reporting.
  • •Own data models, pipelines, and metric definitions powering FP&A forecasting and planning, including feeds into Anaplan and board-level reporting.
  • •Partner with Accounting, Tax, and Investor Relations to improve data quality and make reporting faster and less manual.
  • •Evolve Finance’s data architecture (modeling standards, layer design, orchestration patterns) in dbt and Snowflake and help make Finance processes AI/AI-agent ready.

Key Requirements

  • •Led distributed teams across timezones within a Finance function with SOX or public-company reporting scrutiny.
  • •Designed data systems end-to-end, treating governance and controls as core engineering work.
  • •Comfortable writing code or building models yourself while presenting the story behind the numbers to senior Finance leaders, including the CFO.
  • •Experience with metric/forecasting and planning processes, making data inputs reliable and audit-ready.
  • •Strong communication balancing technical detail with engineering teams and senior leadership.
