Key Responsibilities

  • •Validate and authorize treasury transactions from Front Office teams, ensuring correct trade economics, settlement instructions, counterparties, custodians, and SSIs.
  • •Process end-to-end fixed income and secondary market transactions across government and corporate debt instruments, including equities purchase/sale and related accounting.
  • •Monitor and process fixed income lifecycle events (coupons, profit distributions, maturities, redemptions, call events, early repayments) and manage repo/reverse repo through settlement and maturity with collateral and interest calculations.
  • •Perform daily and period reconciliations of securities positions, custodian statements, Nostro accounts, treasury systems, and general ledger balances; investigate and resolve settlement failures and operational exceptions.
  • •Ensure compliance with Central Bank regulations and internal controls, support audits, and contribute to month/quarter/year-end closing as well as STP/process automation, system upgrades, UAT, and treasury transformation initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • •5-8 years of experience in Treasury Operations, Treasury Back Office, Securities Operations, Capital Markets Operations, or Investment Operations.
  • •Strong hands-on experience with bonds, sukuk, treasury bills, M-Bills, equities, repo, and reverse repo products.
  • •Solid understanding of securities settlement processes and post-trade lifecycle management, including custody and corporate actions processing.
  • •Knowledge of treasury accounting principles and investment operations in a controlled, regulated banking environment.
