Design and develop seasonal men’s knitwear collections, translating brand direction and consumer trends into commercially successful assortments. Conduct research on fashion, competitors, and emerging design ideas; create design concepts, technical sketches, specifications, and artwork. Partner with raw materials, product development, and sourcing teams to advance fabrics and knit structures, collaborate cross-functionally to ensure feasibility and quality, and provide fit and construction feedback during sample reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop seasonal knitwear collections across multiple categories aligned to brand direction, consumer trends, and commercial objectives.
•Research global fashion and consumer insights, competitor assortments, and emerging design trends to create relevant product concepts.
•Develop design concepts, technical sketches, specifications, and artwork to support product development and execution.
•Partner with raw materials, product development, and sourcing teams to identify and co-create innovative fabrics, yarns, trims, finishes, and knit structures with manufacturing partners.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, technical design, and product development; participate in sample reviews and provide feedback on fit, aesthetics, construction, and execution.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design (or related) from NIFT, Pearl Academy, or an equivalent institute, with 10+ years of experience in Men’s Knitwear Design.
•Proven experience designing across flat knit and circular knit categories, including garment construction, yarns, knit structures, fabric behavior, washes, and finishing techniques.
•Experience working with global menswear or lifestyle brands and translating international trends into locally relevant, commercial products.
•Strong trend forecasting, concept development, and consumer insight capabilities to create innovative products.
•Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel; PLM systems and CLO 3D experience preferred.
