Job Summary

Drive energy and water operational strategies for the Facilities Management and Real Estate Energy & Sustainability team across Filton and Newport. Develop technical roadmaps (including digital metering), propose and lead energy-saving initiatives, manage Energy Performance Contract (EPC) execution, and oversee installation of solar PV and heat-pump solutions. Collect and analyze consumption data, monitor KPIs/EnPIs, ensure compliance with ISO standards, and support business cases and capital investment validation.

•Develop and oversee energy and water operational strategies across site and national perimeters within facilities management.
•Contribute to long-term corporate energy strategy, including target setting, Operational Plan definitions, Master Plan Reviews, and site master plans.
•Establish and execute technical roadmaps, including digital metering and project implementation roadmaps.
•Propose, coordinate, and lead energy and water saving initiatives from feasibility studies and energy audits through implementation.
•Collect, report, and analyze energy and water consumption data; monitor KPIs/EnPIs, ensure regulatory and environmental compliance, and support OpEx/CapEx business cases.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience in large-scale industrial manufacturing, aerospace, or complex facility management environments with a track record delivering measurable energy reduction initiatives.
•Direct expertise in optimizing heavy HVAC, industrial processes, and automated building controls (BMS), including managing physical energy/water delivery points.
•Experience with installation, scaling, and handover of solar PV, heat pumps, metering, or water conservation systems.
•Experience executing Energy Performance Contracts (EPCs), writing technical RFPs, and steering site Master Plans or Operational Plans (OP).
•Proficiency with energy management software/data tools to track EnPIs and ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 (professional certification like CEM/CEA is desirable).
