Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute the UK business development and sales strategy aligned to regional and global objectives with value-based positioning.
  • •Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, IPPs, solar developers, EPCs, advisors, and financial stakeholders.
  • •Identify, qualify, and advance strategic sales opportunities from early engagement through contract negotiation and closure.
  • •Monitor market trends, policy developments, grid dynamics, and competition to identify new opportunities and support decisions.
  • •Develop partnerships and concepts for market-shaping initiatives that support tracker adoption, including studies comparing fixed-tilt vs tracker and yield optimization analyses.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience in solar, renewable energy, power infrastructure, or related sectors.
  • •Proven success building strategic client relationships and closing complex utility-scale PV or energy infrastructure deals.
  • •Strong network across the UK solar ecosystem, including utilities, IPPs, developers, EPCs, advisors, and financial stakeholders.
  • •Strong strategic and commercial acumen, including experience shaping market-entry or adoption strategies via analysis, partnerships, and policy engagement.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; fluency in English and Spanish (additional European languages advantageous).
