Key Responsibilities

  • •Orient and instruct new drivers and assist the supervisor with assigning and directing employee work.
  • •Communicate with supervisors to ensure vehicle flow, maintain stock number logs, and coordinate schedules and assignments.
  • •Coordinate move requirements with lot manager and quadrant coordinator; help ensure lease lanes and pre-sales are properly staged.
  • •Serve as lane leader on sale days and manage van operations, including timely pick-up/drop-off of employees and vehicles.
  • •Lead the team by setting an example, championing Cox/Manheim values, enforcing policies, and supporting safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of related work experience, or a higher degree/certification plus 1 year, or 5 years of related work experience.
  • •Valid driver’s license and safe driving ability; ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions.
  • •Basic mechanical knowledge (e.g., identifying flat tires, low gas, jump starting vehicles).
  • •Stand and walk for prolonged periods; vision abilities required including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • •Preferred: 6 months of auction or driving experience; knowledge of lot operations/lot layout and LDM.
