Job Summary

Maintain safe, clean operating areas at the feed mill by sweeping and performing housekeeping, supporting ingredients receiving/unloading, and cleaning up feed spills. Support grounds and landscaping upkeep using equipment such as mowers and trimmers, and assist with washdowns using hoses and other cleaning tools. Operate and maintain required equipment and PPE, follow Tyson health and safety and biosecurity guidelines, and be able to work 3rd shift in varied conditions.

Key Responsibilities

•Sweep and clean assigned areas of the feed mill and maintain good housekeeping in service areas.
•Assist with ingredients unloading activities (rail car/trucks) and ingredient receiving as needed.
•Clean up feed spills and perform washdowns to clean areas of the feed mill.
•Perform groundskeeping and landscaping duties around the mill using landscaping equipment.
•Follow Tyson health and safety and biosecurity guidelines, communicate with operations teams, customers, and vendors, and complete other tasks assigned by management.

•Assist with ingredients unloading activities (rail cars/trucks) and help with ingredients receiving when needed.
•Use and maintain tools/equipment for cleaning and groundskeeping, including landscaping equipment and cleaning tools.
•Wear required PPE (including ear protection) and follow all Tyson health and safety protocols and biosecurity guidelines.
•Lift up to 60 lbs and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance, and work in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments, including elevated areas and ladders/stairs.
