Key Responsibilities

  • •Reinforce didactic content, teaching the knowledge and skills needed for pre-licensure nursing
  • •Collaborate with content area faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward clinical objectives
  • •Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs
  • •Remain current with trends and developments in nursing practice
  • •Travel to GCU student sites to directly observe student performance

Key Requirements

  • •BSN required; BSNs must enroll in a GCU MSN Leadership or MSN Education program immediately upon hire, paid for by GCU
  • •BSN with proof of at least 9 graduate credits/3 classes or approved national certification related to the content area
  • •Minimum of 3 years’ recent work experience in Critical Care/Complex Care nursing with a BSN
  • •Active, current, unencumbered multi-state (compact) RN license
  • •Must pass a drug test and competency testing
