Key Responsibilities

  • •Guide people managers on performance management, including coaching plans, improvement planning, and development opportunities for high-potential employees.
  • •Support adoption of HR programs from the HR COE, including performance engagement activities like reviews and calibration sessions.
  • •Partner with hiring managers on talent needs, collaborate with talent acquisition for recruiting, and support onboarding for new employees.
  • •Review and recommend employment changes such as promotions, merit, and compensation adjustments following established processes and leadership consultation.
  • •Handle employee relations concerns by conducting investigations as needed and resolving issues quickly; coordinate work accident (CAT) claims and return-to-work and accommodation processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bilingual in English and French and able to interact with employees, leaders, and colleagues across Quebec and elsewhere.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or college diploma specializing in HR (or equivalent experience).
  • •At least 5 years of HR experience, including 3 years in an HR management or business-partner role.
  • •Strong knowledge of relevant employment legislation.
  • •Demonstrated discretion handling confidential issues and the ability to use HR metrics to identify trends and recommend data-driven solutions.
