Key Responsibilities

•Act as a hands-on player-coach presence across plants, yards, and job sites, modeling expected behaviors and building leadership capability.
•Coach leaders to own safety and lead safety as a behavior-driven culture rather than a compliance exercise.
•Translate incidents and trends into meaningful learning and behavior change, while challenging legacy practices and closing execution gaps.
•Ensure practical HSE standards are clear and applied, focusing the organization on highest-risk exposures and maintaining operational practicality.
•Lead serious injury and fatality prevention, high-potential incident response, emergency preparedness and response capability, and oversee HSE strategy, compliance, audits, and regulatory relationships.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene or Safety/Health related field with over 10 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Master’s degree preferred.
•Demonstrated success leading safety improvement in heavy industry or field-based operations.
•Ability to effectively communicate technical information, development strategies, and present to large groups.
•Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
