Job Summary

Own material availability and production scheduling in a manufacturing environment by analyzing and reporting inventory and kit readiness. Manage kitting and production order releases in an MRP system, coordinate kitting across stores and consolidation areas, and provide shop-floor support for part movements, WIP tracking, and disposition of nonconforming material. Maintain shop-floor, MRP, and inventory data integrity using key performance metrics. Onsite in Andover, MA.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform material availability analysis, tracking, and reporting to support forecasting and organizational goals.
•Manage kit readiness by coordinating with cross-functional teams on BOM, Material Master, process engineering, operations, and document control.
•Release production orders in an MRP system and confirm execution in the shop floor system.
•Coordinate kitting across multiple stores and consolidation areas while supporting production floor operations (staging, WIP movement, unit completion, and delivery to next steps).
•Maintain integrity of shop-floor, MRP, and inventory systems using key performance metrics and control disposition of nonconforming/specially handled material.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience.
•Experience in planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, or manufacturing.
•Experience with MRR/ERP.
•Lean manufacturing experience with proven track record of lean or Six Sigma project implementations.
•Experience with material and inventory control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, or continuous flow manufacturing.
