Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out all deck operations on the FSO, including helicopter/helideck operation as directed by the HLO.
  • •Manage movement of material and equipment to work sites, including bunkering support from supply boats and assisting with rigging and lifting operations.
  • •Perform cleaning, wash down, waste management, and support material management and fabric maintenance.
  • •Operate tanker offloading via hydraulic morning systems and record work history using the maintenance system.
  • •Maintain comprehensive records and effective handovers at shift and crew change; report equipment breakdowns and repairs through planned maintenance; support compliance and improvement ideas.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with LOLER and PUWER regulations in the workplace.
  • •Have competence for tank entry preparations and confined space rescue.
  • •Hold relevant certifications/competence such as STCW Efficient deck hand / able seaman and OPITO/OPTIO qualifications (e.g., Banksman/Slinging Operations to Stage 3, OPTIO rigging stage 3).
  • •Be able to use hydraulic morning systems for tanker offloading operations and apply maintenance systems to record deck machinery work history.
  • •Complete planned maintenance reporting: record equipment breakdowns and repairs through the planned maintenance system.
