Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and lead lease administration and property management operations for Carvana’s national real estate portfolio, ensuring contractual obligations are tracked and workflows run precisely.
  • •Build, lead, and develop a team responsible for day-to-day property management execution, set performance expectations, and drive accountability across direct reports and third-party vendors.
  • •Serve as the senior relationship owner for landlord communications and escalated counterparty matters, representing Carvana in high-judgment external interactions.
  • •Design and manage scalable systems and workflows for COI management, quarterly reporting, CAM reconciliations, rent/tax/utility payments, and insurance compliance; maintain portfolio database integrity.
  • •Lead core real estate legal operations including lease reviews, renewals/terminations/amendments coordination, easement/right-of-way issues, estoppel/SNDAs/access requests/subordination agreements, and condemnation/eminent domain coordination.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • •15+ years of directly relevant experience in commercial property management, real estate legal operations, or in-house real estate with substantial lease/transaction exposure.
  • •Demonstrated ability to independently review and interpret lease provisions and related real estate legal documents (estoppels, SNDAs, easements, condemnation/eminent domain) and know when to escalate to attorneys.
  • •Proven people leadership experience building and developing individual contributors or small teams in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
  • •Advanced, applied proficiency using AI tools to build reliable, tested workflows that improve quality and speed.
