Responsible for inspecting and verifying incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating kitting and packaging, operating material handling equipment, and assisting with production and inventory integrity to meet production schedules in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform assignments within assigned production area to complete ordering/staging inventory for production operators and operate forklift or other large machines to transport material.
•Assist with shipping/receiving duties to include verifying shipment, scheduling purchase orders, and adjustments to inventoried items (consolidating locations, destruction of inactive stock, pulling samples, packaging, etc.).
•Identify routine shipping/delivery discrepancies for internal customers; troubleshoot production and inventory issues; reconcile each work order to maintain system/inventory integrity.
•Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S to enable Just in Time manufacturing and coordinate with others to improve department audit scores.
•Stock manufacturing lines and prepare kitting packages to meet production schedules and operational requirements.

Key Requirements

•Must have ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts when required.
•Experience with shipping/receiving duties including verifying shipments and adjusting inventory as needed.
•Strong attention to inventory accuracy and the ability to reconcile work orders to maintain system integrity.
•Familiarity with production processes and stocking manufacturing lines to meet production schedules.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills (e.g., Lotus Notes, Dynamic).
