Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute purchasing activities including RFQs, supplier selection, PO placement, and expediting to support production and industrial operations.
  • •Lead negotiations and contracting within delegated authority to ensure compliant, best-value commercial terms.
  • •Manage supplier performance using scorecards, driving corrective actions and escalation when needed.
  • •Identify and mitigate supply risks (single-source, long-lead items, obsolescence) by proposing dual sourcing and approved alternatives.
  • •Coordinate with Engineering and Quality on specification clarity and controlled implementation of changes (ECR/ECN impacts), while maintaining purchasing master data quality in ERP.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in procurement/buyer/purchasing roles within manufacturing or industrial environments, with electronics/mechanical categories preferred.
  • •Experience managing suppliers in regulated or defense sectors with strong documentation and process-compliance discipline.
  • •Proven negotiation experience across multiple categories (electronics, mechanical parts, services).
  • •Familiarity with ERP purchasing modules and procurement processes, including master-data accuracy and audit readiness.
  • •Experience with long-lead items and ramp-up/NPI environments, including balancing expedite actions with cost trade-offs.
