Job Summary

Advise Defence and energy sector clients on procurement and funding strategies to support Net Zero delivery. Contribute to strategic and commercial assessments, develop “optimal” solutions, and support business case development across major programme lifecycle stages. Work within a multi-disciplinary team to tailor tools and processes, deliver high-quality client care, present ideas clearly, and help identify business generation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

•Support clients in developing, implementing, and optimising procurement and funding strategies aligned with Net Zero targets.
•Contribute to strategic and commercial assessments of business challenges and the development and implementation of optimal solutions.
•Develop and support business case development and major infrastructure development across programme lifecycle stages.
•Engage with and influence a wide range of clients and stakeholders to realise business outcomes.
•Tailor established processes, tools, and systems; deliver high-quality work and excellent client care, including presenting outputs clearly.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Must be able to attain UK MoD Security Clearance (British Nationals only need apply).
•Experience developing government HMT Green Book business cases and familiarity with the Green Book business case economic principles.
•Experience working in Defence and/or public infrastructure, including managing transactions/projects in public sector delivery settings.
•Ability to write HMT Green Book Business across all five cases and support governance/approval processes for business case approvals.
•Degree or MBA qualification (or equivalent experience) would be advantageous.
