Key Responsibilities

  • •Own project delivery across the area, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, commercially, and to the highest standards.
  • •Establish and develop a high-performing team of Project Managers to deliver the annual Billable Works programme.
  • •Oversee programmes from initial brief and procurement through to construction, completion, and successful handover, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • •Manage area budget and P&L, monitor supply chain performance, manage commercial risks, and provide updates on programme performance.
  • •Champion Safety First culture and ensure projects comply with Health and Safety legislation, CDM requirements, asbestos regulations, and JSP standards, while supporting sustainability initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Experienced project or programme delivery professional with a strong background in construction, engineering, facilities management or a related environment.
  • •Experience managing multiple projects and ideally leading a team of Project Managers (or similar operational professionals).
  • •Comfortable delivering complex programmes end-to-end including briefs, specifications, procurement plans, supply chains, risks, budgets, and final handover.
  • •Relevant qualifications: HNC or equivalent in Building/Civil Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related) plus project management training such as PRINCE2 or APM.
  • •IOSH (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence; ability to obtain and maintain SC Clearance is a condition of employment.
