Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce feasibility studies and procurement reports.
  • •Estimate and develop cost plans, including producing and presenting the final cost plan.
  • •Manage tendering and procurement activities, including prequalification, tender list, preliminaries, pre-tender estimates, tender analysis, tender reporting, and contractual documents.
  • •Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes, referring major changes to the line manager, and perform progress claim assessments.
  • •Produce monthly post-contract cost reports for the line manager and input into value engineering; follow project governance and cascade cost management procedures; may lead a cost management team.

Key Requirements

  • •Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar.
  • •5+ years of experience in cost management roles, with emphasis on consultancy roles.
  • •Sound experience in cost planning and contract administration.
  • •Experience managing clients, contractors, and consultants directly.
  • •Preferable RICS and AIQS accreditation; Intermediate to high level MS Excel experience; driving licence required.
