Job Summary

Part-Time Diamond Sales Expert to join VRAI in Chicago, focusing on advising clients, closing sales, and delivering luxury jewelry experiences both in-showroom and remotely. You’ll manage appointments, nurture leads, collaborate with showroom and marketing teams, and participate in product launches and events. On-site role with a 24-hour weekend schedule (Friday–Sunday), offering benefits and a path to growth in a fast-growing DTC jewelry brand.

Key Responsibilities

•Be a trusted advisor to clients and prepare personalized consults demonstrating our sustainably created diamonds and VRAI jewelry, then following up to close the sale; act as an ambassador of the VRAI brand and assist with jewelry selection, diamond education, jewelry care, and company policy (returns, upgrades, resizes, etc)
•Maintain a calendar of virtual and in-person appointments, manage your lead pipeline, and nurture/develop leads to contribute to company growth
•Join a team of luxury sales professionals delivering first-in-class service remotely and in showroom
•Work collaboratively with showroom and virtual sales team members on clienteling and custom design projects
•Collaborate with the broader sales, marketing and product teams on product launches, in-store events, press days, activations, and influencer hosting

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 28 - 33 hourly

Key Requirements

•Proven ability to close sales in a high-volume e-commerce or retail environment; a mandatory history of selling diamonds is required
•Strong background in jewelry; candidates who are Certified Gemologists from a reputable institution are highly preferred
•Independent, motivated, and well-organized with exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills
•Compassionate, positive, and patient 'people-person' who is also highly technologically savvy
•Available to work every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 24 hours weekly
