Job Summary

Build PCIe software for Arista’s networking ASIC Platform team, bridging hardware and software to maximize bandwidth and reliability. Work on bringing up PCIe links on new designs, tuning PCIe parameters across root ports/bridges/endpoints, updating Linux PCI drivers and virtual memory allocation, and improving error visibility and resiliency with AER and DPC. Develop and validate userspace software and automated tests to measure performance and ensure stable communication between ASICs, FPGAs, and PCIe components.

Key Requirements

•Knowledge of PCIe state machine (LTSSM), TLP, and credit flow control; experience with PCIe switches is a plus.
•Significant hands-on experience diagnosing problems, troubleshooting, and fixing bugs in low-level firmware.
