Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise nonexempt associates in manufacturing, planning and assigning work and managing production activities for the Bakery Department on the Third (Night Owl) shift.
  • •Improve safety, quality, productivity, cost, and work conditions; support plant safety, quality, 5S, SAP, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • •Develop direct reports through guidance, coaching, assignments, and on-the-job training for new hires and transferred associates, including OSHA-mandated compliance programs.
  • •Manage departmental performance measures, visual controls, and progress reporting; inspect products for conformance and direct setup and machine adjustments.
  • •Plan and coordinate work, train and motivate associates, monitor and evaluate performance, and maintain downtime and production records while handling documentation, reviews, and incident reports.
